William is a vest made of deadstock fabric — ultra-fine worsted wool 180s and mohair, a sophisticated fine yarn known for its subtle sheen and lightness, woven in a limited run for the high-fashion industry. Yarn of this density and fineness does not enter mass production; it falls effortlessly and holds its shape. The fabric is made in England, in a region known for its long tradition of fine wool textiles. The fineness of the yarn is felt at the touch, while the structured yet light construction makes this model comfortable to wear through the transitional seasons.
The inside is lined with deadstock silk in a dark plum tone. A CosmoPaw logo tag in 316L surgical steel in a natural polished finish is hand-stitched beside the left pocket. The vest fastens with hidden sewn-in snaps, with no exposed metal against the skin. A bow tie made from the same fabric is part of the set.
The deadstock materials are sourced from Italy. Handcrafted in Serbia. Each piece is cut and sewn by hand in the atelier, in a strictly limited edition that guarantees its uniqueness.
