A small catalogue of the fabrics, metals, and finishes selected by the atelier. Where they come from, why they were chosen, and what they carry. Most are deadstock — materials drawn from the archives of European houses that no longer produce them in quite the same way.

Italian and British Wool
Wool fabrics from Italian and British heritage mills, most often from the Biella region of Italy and the Borders of Britain — two centres of Europe's wool traditions for centuries. Some bolts come from deadstock archives, while others are sourced new. Once a bolt is exhausted, the material rarely returns in exactly the same tone.

Italian and Indian Silk
Italian foulard silk, used for linings and visible piping. Indian taffeta silk and pure silk satin. Some bolts come from archive stock originally produced for fashion houses; others are sourced specifically for individual creations.

Hand-woven Silk-Linen, India
Indian silk-linen woven on traditional handlooms. The thread is guided by hand, the rhythm set by the weaver. Each metre carries subtle irregularities that no industrial loom can replicate.

Linen, Cotton, and Blends
Long-staple linen and cotton from Indian and Italian mills. Linen-cotton from India for summer pieces. Linen-wool from Italy for pieces intended to be worn across the seasons. Naturally cool in warmer weather and gentle against the skin year-round — fabrics chosen to be worn and enjoyed for years.

316L Surgical Steel · 18k & 24k PVD Gold Plated
REACH-certified surgical steel, finished using Physical Vapour Deposition with 18k and 24k gold — bonded at the atomic level, never lacquered. Gentle against the skin, resistant to water, food, and time. Sterling silver and brass are used where the design calls for them.

Crystals from Austria and the Czech Republic
Crystals from heritage workshops in Austria and Bohemia — two regions that have shaped European crystal-making for centuries. Bohemia has produced glass and crystal since the sixteenth century, while Austrian crystal traditions date back to the late nineteenth century. We source archival stock through importers whose collections are no longer being replenished, including crystals produced before formula changes altered their cut and the way they reflect light. Each crystal is set by hand, one by one, using needle and thread.
